To Valrun and her Government, the establishment of diplomatic relations via a Diplomatic Mission is a key step in our micronational endeavours. We already host a number of Diplomatic Missions but we're always looking to broaden our horizons to learn and grow from the Greater Micronational Community!

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs in its modern, specialized form was founded on February 18th, 2022 - due to a need for a Foreign Minister to handle the drafting, revision, and eventual signing of the Inglish-Valrun Treaty on March 4th, 2022.
It was the job of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs to handle our entry into the Micronational Community in May 2022. Since then, they have worked hard to form our cadre of Diplomatic Relations, and are working harder now, to build, develop and maintain those relations!

While our leaders tend to rattle sabres and bang shields in response to many injustices and transgressions against Valrun, it is the job of the Diplomatic Corps to ensure and maintain peace, small scale cooperation and maintain the happiness of both parties.
The work of the DCPFRV cannot be understated for it's helped avoid many Micronational Conflicts, and needless hatred and discourse.

The Diplomatic Corps of the People's Federal Republic of Valrun has, over the course of it's history, signed a number of Treaties with numerous other Micronations since it's inception in March of 2022.
Treaties ensuring Mutual Relations, Non-Aggression, Free Mobility and Cultural Exchange have been signed with the Serene Republic of Medoles, Estero People's Republic, Empire of Muskratia, Republic of Athabasca, and Republic of Sawdustistan.
